I like the code name Marvel, I know there is already an X-Men girl character called Marvel Woman but I think it would serve as a cool code name here

I like the code name charisma. It was a name of a mutant and it seems like a good name to me. Anyone else like it?

I like Charisma... It's vague enough to make bad guys wonder what the heck you're trying to pull.


I was thinking 'Ishtar' for myself. She was a Sumerian goddess, of love AND war. Also, she pretty much got people to do whatever she wanted for her own needs.

That, and 'Siren' is already taken. Though 'Lorelei' is the German form, so that could work...

my only thought is that there was a really bad movie made called Ishtar XD I think Frida was the norse goddess of love and war, Hathor is the egyptian counterpart...

I was thinking about the name 'Freya', too. But now I'm starting to like 'The Lorelei'...

I KNOW! Because 'Lorelei' just sounds like someone's name. The 'the' makes it awesome. But, see, the Lorelei was a woman named Lore Lay. Her fiance died, and then the sheriff accused her of 'bewitching' men. So they sent her to a nunnery, and she jumped off a rock on a cliff into the river. The legend is that you can hear her voice screaming her name over and over, and then luring men to jump in with her.

it is also the moms name in gilmore girls...if that is relevant. I like it the Lorelei

There's Lobo (or any derivative there) which is Spanish for wolf...

or Noir - French for black

You could go for a reference to the Sherlockian 'Hound of Baskervilles' which was, essentially, a big black supernatural dog.

Of course, it was evil, so you might want to avoid anything that would cast a good character into unfavourable light.

EDIT: I was thinking of "Hand of God", since Liam is a man of faith, but he's not very strong combatively, and his power incapacitates/uses the mind...maybe "The Mind of God"?

yes, we wouldn't want blaspheme. Since you so aptly, and might I say ironically, gave your man of faith the power of possession, would it be to sinister to offer the idea of Legion? or perhaps the title Crucifix would hold less of an evil connotation.

I think Legion is a little too...evil...for Liam.
I'm liking the idea of Crucifix. I think I'll go with that.
