Name of Power: Water Control and Manipulation

Power description: Water Control and Manipulation is where a person has the power has the power to control any water they want that they have around them. One good thing about this power is that the user can breath for long periods of time underwater. They have to come up for breath, but they're sorta like dolphins in the fact that they can hold their breath for over 6 hours.

After Skylar got situated in Fiji, (she was about ten or so) she joined the swim team. It was free, and she managed to find swimsuits. Well, the first week, she went from the slowest lane to the fastest. At the first meet, she did every single race that she could for her age group, and she won every single one. Her time for a 100 IM was 44.03 seconds!!! In other words: this power makes a person unbelievably fast.

The only bad thing about this power is that the person with the power gets dehydrated at crazy rates, so they basically have to be drinking water half of the time they go anywhere.

Appearance: Skylar has long wavy brown hair that has a lot of blonde highlights. She has blue-green eyes that if you look closely enough, you can almost see water ripples and foam from the sea. Skylar is very thin from having lived on the streets since she was six, but she is also very tall and healthy. She doesn't really have much to wear, but she managed to find some swimsuits and some t-shirts and shorts. The only shoes she has is one pair of shoes that have broken so much and have so much duct tape on them that you can't see the original color. Her one pair of flip-flops have given her so many blisters that she hardly even wears them anymore. Because Skylar never really wears her shoes, she has very tough feet.

Personality: Skylar doesn't really have anything to prideful about to anyone minus her power, but it's not like she would tell anyone that on the streets, so . . . you could knock that off the list of her personality. One thing about her though is that she is a very stubborn girl. She hates it when people tell her what to do, and if it seems like they are getting way too pushy about it, than she will do the exact opposite of what they had asked her to do.

Skylar is smart. One day a business lady picked her off the streets and told her that she had to go to school, but Skylar said that she couldn't pay for it. The lady told her that that was fine, and that she would just need to take a test. Skylar got every single question right on the test, so she got a 100 % scholarship into the school. Skylar had no friends at school. They all didn't like her because she was "different." Okay, sure. She had special powers and all, but they didn't know that. They just knew that she was an orphan, and that was enough for them to stay away from her.

Skylar didn't really care. She's the kind of person who does't mind being left alone.

History: When Skylar was really little, her family went on a trip to Fiji. When a typhoon hit, almost everyone died in that area. Skylar didn't get hurt, because of her power, but she was alone in Fiji as a little 6 year old. She hasn't really had much trouble living on the streets, but sometimes she gets so hungry that she has to sneek into peoples houses and steal either money to buy food, or food itself. At school she got a little less skinny from all of the cafeteria food, but she got a little less healthy. Because of that Skylar just went back to her normal old style of sneeking in people's houses to get food, but she would bring it to school in a paper bag so that she wouldn't have to eat the cafeteria food. Eventually, Skylar accidentally flooded the school, one of the girls saw her in the bathroom somehow overflowing the sink, and she tattled. Let's just say that that was the end of Skylar Fox's school career . . . for then. She went back to living her normal life.


RP Sample: Skylar was sitting on a sidewalk curb. She had a cardboard-and-sharpie sign that said 'please give me some money'. There were cars driving by. One car stopped to give her a dollar. 'Thanks' Skylar thought sarcastically. 'What could I get with a dollar???' Skylar stopped her attempts and just walked over by the beach. That was the one place where she could think. 'Beep beep!!!' A car honked. It was driving up right behind her. It was a few of the people at school. They were obviously trying to annoy her.

"Hey Skylar! Having fun on the streets?" One of them asked.

"Loads, now." replied Skylar. This time, she wanted to get them back. She raised the water in the palms of her hands, and threw it at them. The car got soaked.

"Geezes Skylar. You really are a freak." They said an drove away. Skylar had used her power, and now everyone was staring at her. That was definitely a bad thing.
