Site Explaination

The Back Story

This site is based off of the Marvel series X-Men. Its premise is Mutants. The theory is that there are humans who are born with evolutionary superior DNA, therefor causing them to have "super powers" these people are referred to as mutants. Back in the 1940's a man named Charles Xavier, a telepathic, founded a school, in Salem Center, New York, with a band of other mutants so that Mutants across the world could have a place to go, live, learn, and harness their abilities. Really it is a school for teens but others are welcome to stay as their Mansion is hidden and no one but the mutants and select C.I.A agents know were it is. Xavier was the head who would lead them and teach them as well, therefor they gained the name X-men. Those who have finished school or are almost complete go out in the world and help governments and fight criminals and stuff, as well as collecting other mutants that they find in the system and bringing them to the school. In the past they have had battles with a mutant villain Magnito and his own cluster of mutants, as well as governments and other things that have tried to kill them off. But, Professor X (Charles Xavier) was killed and left the school to the Mutants who followed after him and all that need a home. This is where our site takes off, this is where the New Generation is born....

The Plot

Professor X has passed, but the Academy goes on as usual taking in teens with mutant powers and training them to help the world and each other, and it seems the evil mutants are at bay, that they no longer wish an uprising of Mutants to control the world. But there is always the calm before the storm. The senior mutants at the Academy can tell, the telepaths can sense it, and the others can feel it. Something is lurking, and recently students have been disappearing, and there have been riots in major cities across the globe. Students train hard and prepare for a battle that is emanate, but against who? As their own lives are in peril as well as the home they love and people have died trying to protect, the new generation will have to rise up and fight but will they succeed again, or fall in defeat as they turn against themselves?

What this mean for your Character...

Your character will live and attend the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, they are given regular school work for the grade level they would be in and complete it by themselves (although this school teaches classical learning, so students learn Latin and Greek and read Dante and Thorough.) at their own pace, they just have to turn the work in by the end of the week. What they do attend are classes in training, these are set up for the teens to attend a few days a week (although personal training is every day) and they are different each time. Sometimes it may be an obstacle course, other times they will fight each other or dummies. They will have races, games of capture the flag Mutant style, or adventure day. These are all lead by senior X-men (people with a rank number above 150). You become a senior X-man and gain more points the more you post. The more threads and replies you write the higher your points are. There are also bonus's for higher point levels that will be explained at a later time. Although even if your character is not a senior X-man they can still go on missions that will also be announced when the time comes.

So! Your character is training and preparing for war and missions at all times, be prepared and always be ready for a fight, you never know when one might ensue!
